Welcome to the Randolph Auxiliary Police Department's website. We are very excited to be able to present our agency via the internet to the residents of our community as well as visitors abroad. With all the new technology available today, we are able to provide people with information and access to the Randolph Auxiliary Police Department and to our community. Capt BuonopaneWas involved in numerous capacities of community service throughout his lifetime. He was a member of the Randolph Auxiliary Police Department for 40+ years, working his way from officer to the rank of Chief. He was a Grand Marshal for the “Night before the Fourth” Parade in Randolph. He volunteered at the Randolph Food Pantry, St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church and was a member of the Town of Randolph Disabilities Commission.

RAPD Memorial Day 08The Auxiliary Police was originally established under the Civil Defense Act in 1940. On January 20, 1975 the Town of Randolph Board of Selectmen approved the formation of the Randolph Auxiliary Police Department. Since then, we have been committed to maintaining order and have helped enhance the quality of life by building partnerships, developing mutual trust and protecting the rights of individuals in our community. Our members strive to deliver service professionally while maintaining a commitment to fairness and respect while saving lives, preventing crimes, enforcing laws, and providing community volunteerism.

As of December 2012, the Randolph Auxiliary Police Department incorporated as part of the Randolph Police Department under Chief William Pace and as such now follows the rules and regulations of the Randolph Police Department.
